Om Tulip and the Travellin' Train
The story of a girl and her train travels, and who she encounters, and what she may become. With the rise of the digital age, linocut printing has fallen among others. Pablo Picasso used the technique in the late 50s and early 60s as yet another medium. Even Henri Matisse used the technique, whose prints show the simplest of the human form. Many softwares allow a faster process, which in turn has reduced many artistic processes by hand. The process involves a design cut into the linoleum surface with a sharp knife, V-shaped chisel or gouge, with the raised (uncarved) areas representing a mirror image of the final print.
