President of the United States Ronald James O'Reilly has a war on his hands. Sleeper cells deliver another September attack, this time in multiple cities. The North Korean military pours over the borders. The president pleads for allied help. None comes, thanks to an ill-conceived move he made months earlier.

In the chaos, correctional facilities are left unstaffed, the prisoners trapped, violent and starving. A quick solution is proposed: deploy drones to kill them all.
In one prison, a band of unlikely heroes uses their survival skills and courage to embark on a journey of loyalty, patriotism, and sacrifice. They find more is at stake than just their lives. They're just crazy enough to believe it's up to them to save the nation.
