Why Are We Doing Antigone Again?

A self-aware tragicomedy, Why Are We Doing Antigone, Again? is the latest in an ancient cycle of retellings; the same chorus as always once again weaves the tale of Antigone, daughter of Oedipus, as she defies her uncle Creon, the new King of Thebes. This time though at the behest of the bored-to-death chorus members, and despite the protestations of an exasperated Choral Leader, they've agreed to update it a little. Just this time, to see how it goes.
