Women Who Were Warned

Native New Yorker LindaAnn LoSchiavo, a Pushcart Prize, Rhysling Award and Dwarf Stars nominee, is a member of the Science Fiction Poetry Association and The Dramatists Guild of America. Sometimes compact, sometimes expansive, the 28 poems in "Women Who Were Warned" emanate from adolescence and other liminal spaces, considering girlhood and contemporary womanhood - and the ways both are fraught with the pleasures and limits of embodiment.
