Jerry is a new American and a new author, and this is his first work of poetry completed during and after the pandemic. Still a graduate student, he buries himself in classic literature, popular culture, mythologies, and adventurous video games amidst the isolation. As a first-generation immigrant from east Asia, he is bilingual and bicultural, and still seeking a perfect balance of his identities and his philosophies.
