Finding a job that doesn't go too far into my background is challenging. So I count my blessings that the Garricks grant me a job cleaning their magnificent penthouse with views of the entire city and cooking upscale dinners in their spotless kitchen. I can stay put and work for a while till I get what I desire.
It's nearly flawless. But, I have yet to meet Mrs. Garrick or view the guest bedroom. Surely, I can hear her sobbing.
