Om A Thin Line Between Love and Hate
After moving back to Kyoto, Japan, Shaundra Morrison discovers that things have changed. No longer is she hated for being the wife of J-Pop star, Ichiro Yoshida, but loved because she is now a Princess Select of Beijing, China. There's a new love interest in her life. His name is Jona Takao, a real-estate developer who makes Shandra's dreams come true. Even though Shaundra has partially retired from her career as a romance writer, she is building a huge fanbase as a YouTuber, a Young Adult book writer and the mother of the cutest twins, ever. She's trying to put her life back on the right path even if it means sacrificing her soulmate to get there. Japanese popstar Satoshi Hayashi has moved on from his disastrous attempt at romancing Shaundra Morrison and has a new female in his life who can give him the children he desires and who treats him like a man and not a child. But his popularity begins to slip when his fandom discovers that he's romancing the ex-girlfriend of Izanagi Kato, a member of the current kings of J-Pop, Distraction. Solid friendships begin to crumble and Satoshi finds himself on the receiving end of malicious comments and once again, a target of the yakuza. Jona Takao has never met a woman quite like Shaundra Morrison. Even though the African American female is seventeen or eighteen years older than him, Jona, at forty-five, finds himself enamored by a woman who is not only beautiful, but is rich and has a head for business. And the fact that she's not after his money, means she likes him for himself, unlike the other women he's associated with. And on New Year's Eve he plans to introduce her to the rest of his family, to include his ex-in-laws, Sora and Ken Kimura, the local yakuza boss and his wife.
