Om After His Kind
In 2008, I delved into a study and taught a series about the Fruit of the Spirit. What caught my attention was the "twelve manner of fruits" mentioned in Revelation 22:2 from the Tree of Life. It made me wonder if there were twelve fruits instead of the nine listed in Galatians or the eight mentioned in 2 Peter. Ultimately, I realized that love is the fruit of the Spirit, and all the other qualities are simply attributes of God's love that He completes in His Church. In this updated version, the emphasis is on the fruit of the Spirit and its everlasting significance. God expects you to bear fruit, and obedience to Him guarantees entry into His kingdom. The law of the harvest established by God is infallible; you'll reap what you sow. So, it is wise to produce the fruit of the Spirit and bring joy to God.
