Om Anne Wolfers
This confinement diary will act as viaticum or an outlet for all those who will inevitably recognise themselves in this chronicle, both acerbic and empathetic, while waiting to drop their masks.
“Since 2015, every day I have an appointment with my black pen and my Moleskine notebook. I put a drawing and a sentence on it. A diary, this is the form my work has taken over the past few years.” This is how this illustrator with a sharp line treats her daily life, sometimes tragic and very intimate, such as her fight against severe depression recounted in À l''ouest (L''Esperluète, 2017) then against cancer with Le Doute (L'' Ampersand, 2020), sometimes more ordinary and common, as is the case here with this confinement diary started in March 2020, always with this caustic and liberating humour which characterises her and earns her many admirers.
