Crossing Borders

This book argues that the borders between traditional studies of genre definitions depend on complex issues of epistemology, literary traditions, and social and political constraints. It analyses how literary works, in particular in the areas of history, travel tales, autobiography and reportage, can be classified as factual or fictional.
