With summer drawing to a close and an autumn chill in the air, Dulcie Fairfax is finally finding her feet. She has lots of ideas to make the farm on Muddypuddle Lane profitable again, and with gorgeous Otto York by her side, her life couldn't be any more perfect. Things are starting to come together for Otto, too. Not only is he madly in love with Dulcie, but his father's health is also improving, and he is now ready to find a publisher for his cookbook. However, as the days shorten and the temperature falls, trying to find a suitable publisher proves harder than Otto thought.
