Five Progenitors Originating in southern China, Martial Arts, also known as Ng Ying Kungfu or Ng Ying Kungfu, is a style of Chinese martial arts. It obtains its name from the five legendary martial arts practitioners whose techniques are referred to as the "Five Ancestors" or "Five Elders." It is purported that the special abilities and techniques of these five individuals contributed to the evolution of the style. They are the Five Ancestors: Tai Gung: Known for his skills in the use of the staff.Loh Ah Choi: Known for his expertise in the use of the spear.Choi Gung: Known for his proficiency in combat with the saber.Mok Ah: Known for his mastery of the use of the crane techniques.Bak Mei: Known for his skills in the use of the white eyebrow techniques.Five Ancestors Martial Arts is distinguished by its dynamic and fluent motions, which include throws, joint locks, strikes, and kicks. Internal and external components of martial arts training, such as physical conditioning, meditation, and respiration control, are emphasized.
Elements of numerous traditional Chinese martial arts systems, including Wuzuquan, Shaolin Kung Fu, and Tai Chi Chuan, are incorporated into the style.
