Forgiven

This book consists of prayers of confession that have been compiled by the "Journey Class," an adult Sunday School class at First Presbyterian Church of Raleigh, North Carolina, in recognition of the church's Bicentennial in 2016. Forgiven provides the reader with a daily prayer of confession, written by pastors at First Presbyterian Church from the late 1980s through 2016. Each month, an assurance of pardon is also provided to remind readers that we are forgiven through the grace and love of Jesus Christ, our Rock and our Redeemer.
The prayers of confession found in this book were originally printed in the church's bulletins, to be read aloud in unison during Sunday worship services. The prayers were transferred to electronic form and organized into a daily devotional format by members of the Journey Class.
