When Lori's musician son Joe first mentioned numbness in two of his fingers, she didn't think much of it. But as days passed and he was hit with a crippling migraine and relentless nausea, her concern deepened. He quietly loved and served those living on the streets, often stopping to chat with them and buy them lunch or a pair of shoes, sometimes literally giving the jacket off his back.
