Happy sailing. Hear the bow cutting through gentle waves, sh, sh, sh, talk to the dolphins looking at you. Anchor in peaceful bays, admire the stars at night, dream and discuss about the world. Float without gravity in colorful coral reefs, watch strange sea creatures, explore distant islands, their cultures, their beaches, and mountains.
Or be miserable. Everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Accidents from "minor" annoyances to killing yourself.
Different from sailing and safety courses, from books and boring instructions, I describe major and minor disasters, some dramatic, some funny, but all real.
This book covers adventures and cruises on oceans, rivers, and lakes, in Europe, and the Americas. I will not discourage you from buying a boat, just be aware that that misery and pleasure are close together. It's in your command, up or down, left or right, to port or starboard.
