Industrial Restructuring and Trade Reorientation in Eastern Europe

This book focuses on two important aspects of economic transformation in Eastern Europe - the reorientation of foreign trade and industrial restructuring. The authors examine in detail the pre- and post-1989 experience of five different CEE economies, and end by discussing the case for using Western-style industrial policies in their economic transition.
