Journal of a Voyage of Discovery to the Arctic Regions in His Majesty's Ships Hecla and Griper, in the Years 1819 and 1820

In 1821, Alexander Fisher (d.1838), ship's surgeon on H.M.S. Hecla, published this lively and detailed account of Parry's voyage in search of the North-West Passage in 1819-20. He describes the people and wildlife seen during the voyage, as well as providing technical details of latitude, weather and currents.
