Livi Deane was diagnosed with retinoblastoma at 12-years-old. At the time, this made her only the second person in the UK to be diagnosed with this cancer over the age of five. Livi knew she was different as a child undergoing sixteen rounds of chemotherapy. She knew she was different when the treatment could not save one of her eyes and she started wearing a prosthetic. And, when she bravely shared photos of her baring her empty eye socket online, Livi knew she wasn't the only person who felt different from those around them.
