The book examines Muslim women¿s lives in India, in the context of their complex socio-religious identity and experiences of marginalisation. Focusing on the narratives of women living in Zakir Nagar, a predominantly Muslim colony in South Delhi, it highlights the multiple levels of insecurity these women face every day.
