No one had ever looked forward to a funeral more than Cara McConnell. After all, funerals weren't exactly happy occasions, but for Cara, the funeral of her best friend's mother was the opportunity for which she'd been waiting. All of her college friends were set to be there including Andy Sheppard, the boy that she'd not just let get away, but the boy she'd pushed away. For fourteen years, Cara lived knowing she owed Andy an apology. She'd endured an unimaginable marriage, surviving on memories and daydreams of Andy while siffling the guilt she felt for breaking his heart, for breaking her own heart.
