Om Sadder than You
Sadder than You
The John Mosteller Early Years Collection This is a collection of various things I have created in my early years (my teens, 20's, and 30's).
It is a journey in time as well as a journey through my mind.
Sadder than You was a comic strip I did online for a year, then I printed it out and distributed it to various comic shops like Austin Books and Dragon's Lair Comics. The Journal Experience was an experiment that I did just to see how it would be to write everything down for 30 days.Sketches, doodles, and characters: these come from everywhere. I have tons of little ideas that I jot down. This is my attempt to half way organize myself and share a little bit of what I have done in the past.Positive/Negative was an art school exercise that I really loved and got a lot out of it, so I thought I'd share it with you.Heroes and Losers is a collection of would-be heroes and socially inept villians.Painting, charcoal, & watercolors is a collection of some of my artwork usign various mediums.Weird and Wild is where I started to step more into the commercial realm and started to get paid to be creative.Websites and Flash designs: A lot of my early design interest was in creating websites and I was particularly in love with Flash and all that you could create with it.3D Designs: Early on I was into using technology to push my designs, so this is me playing around with a few different 3D programs.
