Halley Makillen and her fellow researchers decoded the secrets of genetic mutation and therapeutic cloning, although the victory was short-lived when Halley realised that someone kept the experiment alive. They were thrust into a new reality, accepting responsibility for the clones but they must stay hidden. They never should have lived.
As Rex grew within the lab, he emerged into the whirs of teenage-hood; lust, leadership and a hunger for answers. Rex and the clones needed to know what was beyond the lab but how far would they go for freedom?
Meanwhile, the researchers' relationship crumbled when secret agendas were unveiled and the truth of the experiment was revealed. Halley needed to get to the bottom of it but whom could she trust?
