Media track record: Nancy Altman and her research have been featured in The Hill, CNBC, Forbes, The Washington Post, Alternet, The Nation, and the Huffington Post, among others. Eric Kingson ran for Congress in 2016 and Bernie Sanders traveled to Syracuse to headline a campaign rally for him, although he came in second in the primary. Kingson has also been interviewed in In These Times. Credentials: Altman and Kingson served as staff advisers to the 1982 National Commission on Social Security Reform and were founding board members of the National Academy of Social Insurance. They are widely recognized as leading experts on the topic.















Anniversary: Publication of the book will coincide with the 85th anniversary of the passage of the Social Security Act.
