Firefighter Gabe loves his home town. Former pop star Joey would rather be anywhere else. But when he hits rock bottom, he has no choice but to return. Joey is convinced everyone is against him, not least because his homophobic family torments him constantly. He and Gabe get off on the wrong foot, but soon they can't stay apart.
