Status and Ecology of the Angonoka Tortoise (Geochelone Yniphora) of Western Madagascar

Abstract:
This study includes an investigation of the status and ecology of the angonoka, or ploughshare, tortoise in its native range in western Madagascar. Data were collected on demography, movements, and reproduction in a population on Cap Sada and regional surveys for populations were also conducted.
