Based on newly developed methods by the author, who is the inventor of HASM methods, this handbook bridges the gap between the mathematical-oriented theory of surface modeling and the user-oriented application where the user is actually able to retrieve information on the method itself. Big-error problem and slow-efficiency problem are two critical challenges currently facing geographical information system (GIS) and computer-aided design (CAD).
