Eleanor Roosevelt How did two young masons, cousins living in a little town in the mountains of southern Spain, become Healers? Blocks and mortar and Healing? Well, here is an attempt to tell the story of Juan and Jesús. Juan was latterly known as 'Juan the Unbaptist' due to assisting people to register their apostasy with the Catholic Church. I say 'was' because he is dead even before we open the book. But weep not, we will hear from Juan as he enjoys what he decides to call 'Love Energy Central', and sends his news regularly to his primo Jesús. Back on Earth, Jesús is distraught at losing his cousin, close in age and close in affection. When he is calmer, he begins to investigate, who killed Juan? There had to be a woman involved, but other possibilities exist. Was his death personal, political or religious? The Guardia Civil also investigate. What they find is mainly humiliation. Their own. Ryokan, a Zen master, lived the simplest kind of life in a little hut at the foot of a mountain. One evening a thief visited only to discover there was nothing to steal.
Ryokan returned and caught him. 'You may have come a long way to visit me, ' he told the prowler, 'and you should not return empty-handed. Please take my clothes as a gift.'
The thief was bewildered. He took the clothes and slunk away.
