The Great Commission mandate to "go and make disciples" includes a process of laying a biblical foundation within our hearts, minds, and lives. The collective body of Christians forms a living organism which is inspired by the indwelling Holy Spirit and the Word of God. When spiritual growth does not occur, when faith is not put into practice in daily life, when the renewal process is hindered, you hurt not only yourself, but you (potentially) compromise the health of your local church. The followers of Jesus the Messiah (Yeshua HaMashiach) do so, not only by their words, but by a life that is completely surrendered to Yeshua. The Master's Apprentice series offers to take us through the mobilization process. You have in your hands the first step in preparation to become a Great Commission Christian. Before we are able to adapt Jesus' model of discipleship into our lives, some of us may need New Wineskins. Our current wineskins have been used and are inflexible. We need the flexibility that comes with New Wineskins. Step one involves a preparation process. You see, true holiness begins the moment we seek God for a relationship with Him; not affiliation with a local assembly or denomination. By nature, we unconsciously are drawn to the familiar. Jesus desires us to follow Him; wherever He leads.
