The Seals and Six Trumpets

Om The Seals and Six Trumpets

In this second work of the Apocalypse Series entitled The Seals and Six Trumpets: The Revealed Epochs of the Chosen Religion Age Prior to the Hour of Temptation the focus is upon John's book of Revelation chapters four through nine. John provides the most indepth insight into the Highest Heaven that has ever been revealed to mankind. The transfer of authority from the Father to his son, the Lamb, begins the spellbinding narrative. This transfer of power occurs shortly after the ascension of Jesus, now in his personna of the Lamb, following his resurrection from Death. Once the Lamb receives the plan of the Father he proceeds to open its seven seals which reveal the prophecy for the first half of this current age. When that has concluded the angels are given seven trumpets which usher in the events of the second half of this age. This particular work will encompass six of the trumpet soundings. This work offers an extensive evaluation of the text through a variety of exegetical lenses. The majesty and depth of this portion of John's vision provides prophetic insight concerning the development of mankind as viewed during these four unique epochs of time. Three epochs have already occurred-the Lord's Day, 70 AD fall of Jerusalem and the Reformation, but the fourth epoch of the sixth and seventh trumpet still awaits. Finally, to add fundamental structure to achieve a better understanding of John's vision, there are several mini-topics of interest such as creation, election and the heavenly realm. This work will challenge existing paradigms regarding Christian thoughts of the spiritual realm, but since the hope of all is a better life after death the challenge is definitely worth the effort.
