The Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings is the burial place of many of Egypt's pharaohs, including Amenhotep III, Rameses II, and Tutankhamen. They were buried in large and beautifully decorated tombs that are among the country's most visited sites. The tourists contribute millions to Egypt's economy. But because of inadequate planning, they are destroying the very tombs they come to see.
