What is an Elephant

Intended for ages 6-12, this work helps kids learn many facts about elephants, including: the social structure of elephants; the animal's dextrous uses for its trunk; the history of the elephant's larger ancestors, including woolly mammoths; and the dangers that poaching, loss of habitat, and the ivory trade pose to the elephant's future.
