The workbook dives deep into biblical perspectives on divorce and remarriage but leans heavily into the aspects of grace and forgiveness. When reading the book, readers will be able to do a lot of self-reflection in areas such as anger, forgiveness, and learning to properly grieve the end of their marriage. There are other practical areas in the book to help the reader learn more about dealing with children of divorce and holidays as well as staying away from unhealthy things to fill the voids of the heart. Ultimately, this book assists the reader in growing closer to God and finding their true identity and calling in life after divorce. Brad Morrell earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology/Christian Counseling with Summa Cum Laude Honors and a master's degree in Professional Counseling with High Distinction, both from Liberty University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and runs his private practice in Tennessee. He is a member of the American Association for Christian Counselors. He holds a certification in grief counseling. Brad has over 17 years of experience leading divorce recovery classes. Brad applies his passion in this book to help individuals discover their true identity after a divorce. With this discovery, he feels that individuals can make peace with issues from their past and be empowered to live out the future to which they are called.
