Let's Make America Good Again

America is in trouble. We are divided racially, ethnically, politically and by gender as we have never been before. The Congress is so partisan as to preclude any positive accomplishments. A large minority has concluded that the only solution is to switch from our Democratic Republic to Socialism. They promise it will not be the sort of Socialism that has bankrupted once-wealthy Venezuela, but do not concede that Venezuelans did not vote for the kind of Socialism Hugo Chavez delivered. We have the same Constitution our Founders gave us, based upon the Judeo-Christian ethos. What has changed? Our political parties have devolved into two hostile camps with vastly different interpretations of the Constitution. Some Americans fear and detest Socialism, while Progressives present it as our Utopia. Frenchman Alexis de Tocqueville visited America in 1834. Of what he had seen he wrote, "America is great because America is good". He went on to say, "When America ceases to be good, she will cease to be great. This book is a roadmap to assist us in regaining something important--the America that our Founding Fathers gave us.
